Children’s Painting Party
On Sunday, April 6th the children will be served lunch after Children’s Church and then have a Painting Party. Joanne Painter will guide the children in painting an Easter scene. Please sign your child up on the sign-up sheet at the information station at church.
Women’s Potluck and Movie Night
On Friday, April 11th the women will have a potluck and movie night at church at 6pm.
Youth Spring Trip
The youth will spend the weekend of April 11th – 13th at Shenandoah National Park.
TNT Luncheon
TNT is our group for the elderly. They meet together for a monthly luncheon. The next luncheon will be at 11am on Wednesday, April 16th at Eat’N’Park.
Youth put on an Easter Service at Meadow View
On Thursday, April 17th the youth group will put on an Easter Service for the residents at Meadow View Suites.
Good Friday Drama
Our Good Friday Drama will be held on Friday, April 18th at 7:00 PM. Our
church presents a live drama depicting the suffering of Jesus with a dramatic
recounting of his trial, beatings, and crucifixion. Come experience it for yourself with audience participation. Parental discretion is advised. The evening will include a time of singing at the beginning and will end with communion. Reflect on the suffering that Jesus went through to pay for our sins on the cross.
Easter Sunrise Service
We will be holding our Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 20th at 6:30am up on
the hill at the Sherbine’s Barn, located at 2165 Highland Farms Drive, Somerset,
PA. Please bring a chair, blanket, and warm head covering. It is across from the Lowe’s Home Improvement on North Center Avenue, Somerset. Turn left onto Highland Farms Drive and go up to the top of the hill.
Easter Service
Our Easter Service will be at 10am on Sunday, April 20th. In Children’s Church, the children will enjoy an Easter lesson and egg hunt.
Blood Drive
We will host a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 24th from noon to 6pm. Go
to redcrossblood.org to sign up for a spot. We also need a few volunteers to check people in. A sign-up sheet has been posted at the information station.
Youth (grades 6 – 12)
Youth Group: Thursdays from 7pm to 8:30pm at the church
Youth Sunday School: Sundays from 9am to 9:50am in the Youth Room
Cramer Bible Study
Cramer Small Group Bible Study will meet on Thursdays, beginning at 6:00 pm at 130 West Union Street, Somerset, PA.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study is taught by Karen Costea and takes place every Thursday morning at 9am. See the Women’s Ministry page for more details.
